YOUR STAY

Accommodation is for 7 nights Friday to Friday and the camp will run from the Saturday morning to the following Friday morning with a welcome meeting on arrival day.

The price is based on two people sharing a standard twin room. Please say at the time of booking if you have a preference of who you share with (e.g only same sex or with someone else you know is going).

Room upgrades can be arranged at an extra fee subject to their availability.

The hotel has a bike hire shop within the grounds. However, Costa Teguise has many more should you not wish to bring your own bike.

Bike hire is not included.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

The camp will be run by our coaches Mark and Craig. We ask that as a minimum you’re happy swimming 1500m in a pool, can ride for at least 2 hours and that you can run for 30minutes.

A full timetable of the camp will be provided closer the time but the general objectives are:

  • develop swim technique and speed

  • build base endurance

  • complete some early season test sessions across all three disciplines

  • receive real-time feedback from our coaches

  • train and recover in a stress free warm weather environment.

Attendance at all coached sessions is not mandatory. We Understand that you are also on holiday and may want a morning or afternoon to yourself. However, down time and recovery will be built into the programme.

Before you attend we will gather some more information from you about your ability and goals so that we can make sure everyone get’s something out of the camp.

THE VENUE

The Barcelo Active in Costa Teguise will be our base for the week. The hotel is a 4 star complex complete with an outdoor 10 lane heated 50m pool where all our swim sessions will be conducted.

Situated in Costa Teguise approximately 15 minutes from the airport it’s perfectly located for accessing bike and run routes of varying lengths and intensities.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • 7 nights half board accommodation (breakfast and dinner)

  • Minimum of two coached sessions per day

  • Sessions include: swim, bike, run and strength with a mixture of endurance, technique and intervals.

  • Pre-planned bike rides with a support vehicle.

  • Swim analysis and feedback sessions

  • Education and discussion session

WHAT ISN’T INCLUDED

  • Flights and transfers

  • Extra food and snacks throughout the day

COSTS

Total cost for the camp is £850pp.

A £100 deposit will secure your place and three further balancing payments of £250 will be required in June and September and a final payment 14 days prior.

You can of course choose to pay in larger lump sums.
